"DURONIA" Life at1155mhz

As promised...

My Duron 800 Oc'd to 1100 and1155MHZ

My latest project...  A fast Duron 800 that is extremely cool, workable, runs stable and looks good anywhere.. LOL

Well - here it is.

Chip - 800 oc'd to 1100 or 1155 (Depending on board - KT7A or KT7 Modified w/ 2.2 v jumper)

This is my favorite case so far - I like it even better than the Lian Li - More room and superior cooling  (with the right mods, of course) - imho - you can get them at www.directron.com
Sound Blasters new home...
120 MM blow hole in the top keeps things moving, Sunon 2.4w fan is more than adequate - I did have the 6.4W in there but it was too noisy and this case really doesn't need much cooling stock.
Enermax 431 Power supply is the one to get if you're serious - also the fans built into the power supply help remove heat from the chip area - a bonus!

Twin Maxtor's 7200 in Raid Config.

Global win fop 32 on the chip, but this case comes with a hole perfect for the fan from my fop 38 cooler.
If I need the extra cooling of the fop 38's fan, I simply switch it on and have both fans running on the heat sink at once - This case is very cool.

Fan probe for Compunurse probe can be seen going into the space under the heatsink - look right in the middle near the frequency crystal.

Another shot - but you can see how this helps when you're in OC land..
One port on the side was sufficient for cooling the card area and the front of the case has an additional Sunon 80mm fan.
A bit tall for the desk, though.. it's not on the floor under it - works extremely well there and it's quieter, too.

BENCHMARKS

The system runs very well - Latest Mad Onion score is 8662 - and that's on a DURON.. not Athlon.. ;)

The Duron 800 is one amazing chip - and that's Air Cooled, as well.
